Default Hi, I'm Jonah

Hello Fellow Smonkeys!
I'm Jonah and I'm new to this wonderful Monkey Town. I thought I would tell you a little about me and my surrogate mom. I'm the oldest of about 40 to 50 monkey siblings, mom doesn't keep a very good count, sheesh! Maybe it would be easier if I tell you the story of my families beginnings with pictures.

Dad came home from a business trip with a surprise for me, he set them on the floor in front of me and said these will soon be my new brothers and sisters.

I was so excited to help mom get my new family underway that I started to help carry them into her room.

Mom warned me to be careful with this precious cargo, but I was in a hurry and carried to big of a load. I slipped on the hardwood, the sock and I went flying into the air, luckily I landed with some under me, however, some landed on top of me too.

I climbed out of the pile of socks and rolled on top of them. I guess I started daydreaming about what it would be like to have a bunch of sock brothers and sisters.

Well, it was quite sometime ago since dad brought home all those socks. Mom has gotten many of my siblings done. Here we are, with more on the way!

What a nice looking family! Are you Jonah or Kelkubi?

Hello Jonah, nice to meet you. I am Quite the Dude, one of the the 100 or so monks at the Bull City Home for Sock Monkeys. I am one of the few monks who is not a Red Heel monk and I think that makes me special. My avatar pickture shows me on the hood of my Thunderbyrd, wearing a Bob Dylan do-rag.

I had a little trouble seeing your pictures, but I figured it out. You have a nice family-I can see the family resemblance. Tell us more about you and them: where you live what your sibs' names are-all that stuff. I'm sure some of my house mates will be writing in to say "Hi!"

Jonah,

Those are wonderful pictures. You have a lovely family. You know, you could register as Jonah and all the members of your family can register under their own names too. Just a thought. Maybe Kelkubi doesn't mind typing for you. All our monkeys type for themselves, but some wish they had someone to help. A couple of our monkey in particular who have short arms.

Looking forward to hearing more about your family.

Miss Caroline

Hi Jonah!
Do you like bugs? What is your favorite crayon color? Have you ever hopped-the-scotch?
Nice to meet you!

PS. I usually spit up a little when I see munky skins but I dint this time. I am so glad about that.

The blue monkeys in your family are most handsome! It was fun to see the pictures and read the story. Do the blue monkeys like to trick peeples? I love tricking everyone around here. It is fun.

Yup, I like bugs but I don't like bees, they hurt. I like red crayon colors, they match my butt (he he he) I also like green because of Kermit the Frog, he's a cool dude. Hmmm...nope, I've never hopped-the-scotch, do you think I'd like that?
Do you like bugs? What is your favorite crayon color? And what is your favorite food? I love pizza, nachos and BANANANANANAS!
Mom and I have our own blog if you ever want to look at it. I have my own pages called Following Jonah. My dad takes me on adventures so mom and I put pictures and video clips on my page. kreationsbykelly.blogspot.com
Have a wild and crazy day!

If I mom and I learn how to change our account name, maybe we'll do that so it's under MY name. I asked her to do that originally, but you know how stubborn moms can be. Heck when I was typing on my other blog, she checked my spelling. Sheesh!
